Turner Hunt is responsible for THOR's technology and product development and is a
principal at THOR Energy Group. Turner is also President of
Vision Energy LLC , a wind power development company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Turner began
his career as an aeronautical engineer working for the McDonnell Douglas Corp. in the advanced
aircraft design and wind tunnel division. At McDonnell, Turner gained extensive wind tunnel
testing experience and lead several teams of multidisciplinary engineers on conceptual design
studies, including hypersonic intercept, long range reconnaissance and fighter/attack aircraft. Turner
later worked on the F/A-18 Hornet and F-15 Strike Eagle full production aircraft programs
while at McDonnell. Turner has founded or been involved with companies in real estate development,
software programming, internet/networking services, and wind power development. With Vision
Energy, Turner is involved with the development, acquisition, permitting, financing, construction,
power marketing and operations of wind farms both in the development stage as well as two
existing wind farms totaling 280 megawatts of installed capacity. Turner has been directly
involved in the development of over 1,500MW of wind power projects now currently in
operation in the Midwestern US. Turner received a B.S. and M.S. degree in aerospace
engineering from the University of Kansas.
Russ Rommé is responsible for THOR's governmental relations and regulatory

sector and federal government. Mr. Rommé has extensive experience in project management,
interdisciplinary alternative energy planning, wildlife biology, National Environmental
Policy Act compliance, and interagency coordination in eastern, Midwestern, and western
states. Russ earned numerous awards from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, US Department
of the Interior, and the US. Army for large-scale planning efforts, NEPA analyses, and
complex Endangered Species Act compliance efforts. He has has 25 years experience performing
complex programmatic and project-specific planning efforts for numerous agencies, including
the Federal Aviation Administration, US Air Force, U.S. Army, The National Guard, State
Departments of Transportation, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Bureau of Land Management, and
the Department of Justice. He has participated in the administrative and legal defense of numerous
planning analyses across the U.S. Russ earned a B.S. in Natural Resources/Wildlife Management
from the Ohio State University in 1984.
Joel Rumker heads up THOR's ocean current turbine scale model mechanical design, analysis and fabrication efforts. Joel provides a wealth of knowledge in the hydrodynamic and aeronautical related disciplines for THOR's scale model prototypes as well as various sub-components including wing, drag flaps and ballast tank control systems. Joel has previous experience in the fabrication and repair of cast aircraft engine components and composite/aluminum aircraft engine components. Joel is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a B.S. in aerospace engineering.
Christopher Datko is responsible for THOR's control system electronics platform, data acquisition system sensor arrays and associated electronics as well as THOR's ROC-Flume throttle quadrant electronics development and implementation. Christopher has a background in embedded electronic system design, software development and autonomous vehicle control theory. Christopher has a B.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology from the University of Dayton.
